How did Tenant Care come about?

Due to personal experience, I know that tenants can be unfairly treated by some landlords. It has happened to me. I have had money deducted from my bond for damage I did not cause and for rubbish removal and cleaning costs that were not my responsibility. So, I saw a need for an independent service just for tenants to protect them against unfair claims by landlords.
